Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This cairn stands to a height of 1.8 metres above the surrounding field, but it has been enlarged to its present diameter of 31.4 metres by the dumping of cairn material round the perimeter when the central area was pillaged in the 19th century. Two slabs, which may have been the sides of a cist measuring about 1 metre in length, 0.6 metres in width and 0.8 metres in depth, lie in the centre of the cairn.
The cairn had already been excavated by the 1870s and it is recorded (Name Book 1870) that the cist contained a cremation in an urn, but the vessel no longer exists.
