(2006-05-31) | Not sure Jim. The sky looks normal but the barley looks like an oil painting. Is that the effect you wanted? This one doesn't really do it for me, but maybe you need more variety of colours and shapes to pull it off? Also sky/ground is same ratio. Would it be better if one were more than 't'other? | JimChampion
(2006-05-31) | Yes - I've not stuck to the rule of thirds here. The impression of the barley field is exactly right - it was very windy here so it was swaying madly. I see what you mean about the sky - perhaps it needs bigger blobs to "look right". | feardhaigh
