| Posted Comments: 4clydesdale7 (2011-08-09) | You must have had an awfully long ladder to take this superb shot - to the right is Pinfarthings Enclosure - at the far end of the Cross Bank you can see where the Bank and the Ditch divide on entering the ancient quarry - just by the building (to its right) is an ancient well called Spriggs Well - this photo is so much better than any of mine particularly as it gives a much clearer impression of the size of the whole site of which Pinfarthings Enclosure forms less than half - thank heaven you missed out the ugly reservoir, carpark and resplendent ever present ice cream van (directly below the kite) |
