Crikey. Look at that! I never even knew they were doing this. Pity I'm still stuck not driving, else I'd be up there this evening to have a look.

I can't find any documentation on it other than that it is 'essential health and safety work'. I wonder what they are actually doing.

Thanks - I can't help wondering how on earth someone would get Scheduled Monument consent for such invasive work. Oh hang on, I know ... :)
