Description SP087152. Gloucestershire, Nr Northleach. One story goes that he was leading a sheep, fell over and got tangled up in the rope and strangled himself????

Yep the same story is attached to Hangman's Stone in East Devon - A sheep rustler tethers the sheep to the stone and then sits down and has a sleep against the stone. The sheep trangles him with the tether by walking around and around the stone
