The well has recently been restored as part of the renovation of the whole site, which is well worth a visit and very atmospheric. Not much was known about the well at the time of my visit, but the intention was to continue exploration if possible. |

I have been doing some research into this and I am totally fasinated by this picture because the last two times I have visited the church, the well is simply not there anymore. (2005-12-02) | the well was removed recently by the owner. This was apparently related to a ghost of a small boy, who apparently died down the well, and has been seen in the church on several occasions. It was there until very recently, but was removed by August when i got married at the church Im sure the owner of the church could explain more |
