Description Cnoc an Temple, looking along the WSW long axis towards the distant Isle of Rhum. The Black arrow, lying along a most distinctive linear intrusion of white quartz, points due SW (225 degrees) where the land-owner confirms that the sun sets on the winter solstice into the sea on the edge of Rhum. The Blue pecked arrow points WNW along the long axis of the dolmen (242 degrees) towards a distinctive ‘notch’ between the mountains on Rhum.
