Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | I arrived on the morning boat from Kirkwall to supervise a team of local volunteers to remove the sandbags that had been protecting the site from the elements since last year.
Initially a chain was formed & sandbags were formed into a semi-circular wall that will provide a wind break around the site hut, an ancient red van.
When the distance became too long for the chain, the cavalry, (in the form of a front-loader!) was called in to carry the load most of the way.
The job was completed by lunchtime with the bulk of the pigs (as they have become affectionately known!) sitting nicely in their new home around the van. |
