(2004-04-18) | As I said in the site description all that RCAHMS knows is what HS has told them - direction and distance from the Italian Chapel and that it is a prehistoric settlement. Using CANMAP mine is the only followup that I know of, my description and pictures are off to RCAHMS NMRS collections section tomorrow. I suspect what I call structure A is later than the shore structure, to its left is a similar but slightly wider structure which is on a film I haven't quite finished. I only took photos of the most obviously prehistoric structures. Not being a professional I hope someone else will see my reports at such a level. |
