Description The Comet Stone with summery meadow, looking to the Ring of Brodgar. Amazingly, this was the middle of summer, and though this looks pleasantly warm - Orkney was the coldest place in the British Isles on this day. Fleece, gloves, and winter hat were needed.

The Comet Stone is about 200 metres east from Ring of Brodgar according to the Megalithic Map nearest sites list. Cheers, Tim.
