The sign, just west of the north-running drove road east of the Cursus Barrows, reads 'Stonehenge Down'. The top part of the plan shows the layout of the road, and footpath to the barrows, that we've just joined via a gate. Normally we'd enter nearer the car park, but a herd of cattle were lurking there! |
