(2011-08-16) | there are barrows to the north east(mostly ploughed out though), there is a sqauare ?roman earthwork to the north-can be seen from the ramparts as you walk round, there is a memorial to Richard Jeffries and is it Alfred Williams? the Steam poet. barbury was Jeffries favourite place apparently. | angieweekender
