Ladies on the left, gentlemen on the right, and a 'disabled' accessible toilet in the centre that uses a key available from the English Heritage kiosk within the motte. The signboard on the bank (to the left) tells the story of how in 1794 the Ordnance Survey set out below the accurate baseline for their triangulation of the country (in order to check the accuracy of their mapping). |
