JD Sainter's hut circles are not shown but were apparently in the field immediately north of the main road on the southern side of the site. |

(2004-08-18) | Revisiting the site two weeks ago I noticed stones geologically very similar to the boulder scatter and the big standing stone at the point where the path NE of Bullstones crosses the same contour. Maybe this entire hilltop is glacial morain overlying flagstone (in a quarry c400m N of the site). |
