|Description ||This map replaces the earlier version following the recent discovery of a recumbent, pear-shaped natural stone built into the flagstone wall N of the Toot Hill enclosure. It is suggested that this stone is a prehistoric waymarker, similar to that at Standing Stone 1km SE, marking an ancient track past several Bronge Age tumuli. The roads have been redesignated in discussion with Brian Rich, who is currently updating Dodd & Dodd's 'Peakland Roads & Trackways'.|
