Just before the Fodderty Church turn left onto a lane passing some houses including Fodderty Lodge. Park at the end near the last house and continue straight ahead on foot past some trees and over a bridge. On your right a stile takes you over a fence and you are at the bottom of the steep direct route the water takes. Be kind to yourself and follow the other 2 arms of the triangle, easily seen on the photo, that are actually a walking path. Where they meet with the third arm at the top is St John the Baptist’s Well. |
| Posted Comments: Debbie (2008-02-25) | I hope to go to this area in Aug/Sept 2008 and will try to get to this well. Thank you for the directions and the beautiful photo. |
