Description Not sure if you can see the little critters but there's a line of sheep crossing the top of the mound and a few of their buddies on the way up!

marvelous picture Ken, with the mound on the horizon, the path leading into the picture, and the tree framed by the clouds. The little sheep, just add that little bit more. A 10 from me! :)

There we are then - Nicola is one of our most talented photographers and she really likes this picture. I don't, but so what...nothing to get upset about.

I like this one because of its quirkiness, and the way the path leads you into the subject. Assume the sheep are real - they make it! [That tree's (obviously!) even bigger than it was when I visited in 2001.]

The sheep are real, I didn't even notice them until I had a look through my old pics of Dowth. Its very difficult to photograph Dowth because from any distance it looks like, well, a grassy mound in the corner of a field. Not exactly exciting stuff for people unfamiliar with the place! Anyway, best of a bad bunch but if anyone says they dont like it I'll put them over my knee, every photo I post on here is specially manufactured to be dazzling any any indications that they are just to illustrate the monument in question is purely conicidental, wink wink ;)
