Description The Beeracres Stone My new standing stone, almost 6 feet of best Cornish Granite, recently erected in the garden of Beeracres. Despite a nightmare start to things when getting it delivered, we managed to move it into place and erect it last Sunday afternoon fairly easily, and had a nice little celebratory event. I think it looks nicely at home here.

Mmmmm.... Beer... Beeracres? Sounds like some folks' idea of paradise! Is it just a property name, or the name of a pub? ;-)

It's gorgeous, thecaptain, and I like the 'scarf' of holly, it really sets it off! Well done. All the hard work was worth it in the end.

I've got a few decent pictures of the stoneraising. Not really sure whether to post any on here or not. There isnt a sitepage for new sites which would keep them together. By the way, Beeracres is purely my name for the place. It doesnt refer to a pub or anything, and I have to admit to not brewing anything here now for many years. It wasnt helping with my figure, so I cut right back. Shame !!

Great to get an erection like this in your garden... Hope you 'dedicate' it well ;-)

Looks lovely in the sunshine. It actually looks happy to me. It was pretty dusky when you put it up, but I confess it looks nicer without the £1.99 Woolworths multicoloured Christmas lights. Now I really am jealous.
