|Description ||Laughter Man from the south, with Laughter Tor in the background. This photo shows the relatively long, level platform visible here, between the piles of granite near the Tor's summit. Laughter Man pokes its 'finger' skywards, towards the middle of it. (A 'stage' set for ceremonies enacted at the Laughter Man menhir and its adjacent stone rows, maybe?) Visiting in July 2000, I seem to remember the highest area of the Tor facing the standing stone as being a wide, shallow bowl effect, tilting towards the south.|
