One of the nicest examples of gneiss! (Your lovely photos bring back great memories, postman. 2001 is a long time ago now. I wish the Lottery 'finger' would point my way!) ;-)

Couldnt agree more Angie. the circle is awesome on its own and the stones used are just perfect all stone circle should be made of great big pieces of Lewisian Gneiss
