(2005-08-02) | I didn't note the time but I would guess around 8.30 - 9.00pm, in the everlasting dusk, about 3hrs before real darkness arrives at these latitudes! | AngieLake
(2005-08-03) | Mmmm... it's magic. I'll never forget the thrill of being totally alone in the centre of Callanish (Calanais) at midnight in July 2001, and the sky was still glowing gold in the direction of sunset, while the stars were beginning to come out behind me. Mr Morrison, the landlord of the B&B just down the road, said I'd be ok on my own, and he was quite right. |
