Hello Allen and welcome. Was this taken today, it's been a lovely day. To answer your question "Am I the only one that views the North Downs section Around Dorking UK as a significant Neolithic landscape with the many ancient monuments on both the chalk downs and its parallel greensand ridge? It seems little explored in academic literature?" Well there's me altough I don't get out exploring as much as I could. There's also JonM who is interested in the barrows of the South Downs. !
