(The cairn on its summit can just be glimpsed here.) Also, the wall of the newtake with its sharp corner is a good marker for finding the Blackslade Down cairn and cist. The bank of the ancient field is also visible running left to right across the centre. |
| Posted Comments: AngieLake (2012-09-11) | Ooops! I think I was further up the track to the north here, and the top of the cairn mound is actually the lighter line around centre of pic, from middle to centre right. In that case the field bank will be behind that again. |
