| Posted Comments: cerrig (2012-07-31) | Nice set of photo's here Angie, you've been busy. | AngieLake (2012-07-31) | Thank you cerrig. Maybe this posting will make up for my absence in the Peak Dist! Am getting strength back now after middling-to-major surgery. The hardest part of this walk is the tramp up to Haytor from the carpark (for oldies like me ;-)), but the scenery makes it well worth it. I gather the hut circles are Bronze Age. Didn't read up on it or take Butler's book with me on walk, otherwise I'd have found Hut 1. A plan has been sketched out for Meg P, so that'll help to locate them. My contribution to History Week, so hope folks go visit and enjoy! |
