Description The giant's tooth. Truly a magnificent menhir, set in slender deciduous forestry. It's worth just sitting here and watching the leaves in the trees.

Site in Bretagne:Côtes-D'Armor (22) France

Good to see you Jim. I've since opened the site page to see that the stone is 7 metres tall .. so about the same height as Rudston monolith?

Hi Angie, thanks for that. Yes, I'd forgotten about our great menhir.. I still can't get my head around that lead cap :)
I think one of those elastic fitting head umbrellas would look much better hehe.

Here's the Rudston equivalent: http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312&file=index&do=showpic&pid=7594
Can't believe how long ago that was taken now. Funny idea - the 'head umbrella'. I guess someone would have liked to add a mobile phone network aerial to it, too! ;-)
