orbs = lichen .

I don't think they are lichen, too circular. I'd say photographic artefacts from the flash - water droplets or dust

They also appear in another photo in this sequence - different locations and size.
Low light, light source in similar orientation to the camera. A "floor" of sand and gravel.

These are Peter Popoff balls from miracle spring water.
Common in Latvia.

These "orbs"are unintended lighting effects from the camera flash. There are some light spots with variegated colours in other photos I took inside this chamber, but not published on this page. In another photo of these same orthostats only one spot is evident and it is smaller than those in the above photo and in another location, so it not lichen.
