This was submitted to our news recently, does anyone have more information on this as it's a bit sketchy:

A major ancient stone circle has been discovered in the Hebrides after being hidden for thousands of years.

The significant find is integral to the world famous Callanish Stones on Lewis which encompasses around 20 other satellite sites across a wide landscape.

The circle contains 15 stones, each about 1.6 metres high. Some are exposed and lying on the surface but the majority are buried just inches below the peat.

Local archaeologists Ron and Margaret Curtis made the discovery by chance after spotting five slabs of exposed silvery coloured Lewisian Gneiss lying on the heather.

You think it's that one. I've been there myself also. Why submit it now? Strange.
