I just came across an interesting old book, "Ancient Pillar Stones Of Scotland" by Dr. George Moore, published in Edinburgh in 1865 by Edmonstone and Douglas. Am starting to read it now, but he seems to center his work around the "Newton Stone" with graven words that was found in Garioch, Scotland and moved to the University of Aberdeen. He interprets this as a Semitic text. I don't see mention of it on your site. Does anyone know anything about this book or the stone?
Thanks! Jory Steven Brooks,
