Anyone know of a good 3D reconstruction model of Stonehenge as it might have been for sale?
Here's hoping,
Mak

The old Intel Virtual model is available here
http://www.stonehenge-avebury.net/V-R/stonehenge.zip
as a zipped up model
But you will need the relevant ViscapeSVR plugin to view it on newer PC's.
http://gtour.ic24.net/ViscapeSVR.exe
IE Only

Thanks for those Peter, unfortunately neither are what I need, but it was interesting looking at the Viscape Stonehenge.
What I'm after is a 3D model, in OBJ or 3DS formats to put into a 3D application. I've seen models but they're all of the site as it is now and I need one of how it was/might have been. We may just have to make one ourselves.
Thanks for the help anyway,
Mak

Mak,
I have several models from full replica to accurate model of how it is now.
I use 3D Studio Max, what are you using?
I could email you files if you like,

Check out '3d cafe'
the link is
http://www.3dcafe.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=38
the file is 3ds and is free but not of great quality.
sthenge.zip 3DS 61Kb (Stonehenge)
you may have to navigate from the home page, then goto the free section and under 'models>ARCHITECTURE' you'll find Stonehenge.
Enjoy
