Question for the Eds. I notice that there are no postings of anything from the pre-hispanic civilizations of South America and Mexico on the portal. Could one of the editorial team clarify the status of sites relating to Aztec, Mayan, Zapotec, Inca etc remains, do they fall within the remits of the site? If so, I, and I’m sure others could start posting pics of some of the fantastic remains left by these lost cultures.

Andy or Vicky may wish to comment, but I think its safe to say that Mexico and South America can be treated like the ones we have of North America. A different timescale applies there and BC and AD are meaningless. So we take Columbus and the Spanish invasion as the cut off point. Anything pre-Columban (daft term) is ok, but as with Egypt and Classical Greece etc - we don't want too much. Choose your best and most informative photos and add new site details with latitude and longitudes. Look forward to seeing some.
