The so-called "Grünz Line of Date near Schmölln" is a fairly long linear impression on different satellite maps (bing, google, yahoo) sitting near the excavation of Schmölln 2014/2015. Grünz and Schmölln are the names of the two villages near the excavation in the valley of Randow.
The yahoo picture actually gives a fairly good impression of a hyperbolic line touching the "Grünzer Linie".
The presentation (uploaded in three parts) shows a geometrical construction linking the "Grünz Line of Date" to the lines of a sun-clock made with a gnomonial pod of height 38 meters.
The well known lines of a sun-clock are shown to be a part of a so-called "Bewegungskarte" ("movement map"). If all stars made shadows, the ends of that shadow lines drew the movement lines of a movement map. It depends on the latitude of the site. The movement map contains the place of the pod, hyperbolic lines, the straight spring-autumn-line, elliptic lines and a point. The point, to whom the elliptic lines tend to shrink to, shows the static position of the pole in the sky. The pod is between the spring-autumn-line and the pole-point.

One of the main methods in zenithal astronomy is to move the eye along the meadow till the interesting object in the sky is seen right behind the top of the pod (or tree, if no pod at hand). The position of the eye can be marked by a stone. This way, every star of the big dipper leaded to an elliptic bow during night, proofed and moved in following nights till the ellipses are completed.

The Gegenschein is a very very weak shining in the clear starry night sky, when latter is free from light pollution. Its movement lines share the region of movement lines of the sun bordered by the red hyperbolic lines.

In the year -3927 (stellarium.org) the movement line of the star Arcturus crossed the pod. In this moments Arcturus has been seen in the zenith of the sky. When zenithal astronomically watching the Gegenschein in the same moments, the people of Schmölln and Grünz in that year would have got a straight line of Gegenschein-stones - the "Grünzer Linie".

In that moments the movement line of the Gegenschein had its so-called main crossing or primary crossing with the "Grünzer Linie". Some movement lines, for instance hyperbolics near the border hyperbolic ("Wendehyperbel", "solstitian hyperbolic"), cross the Grünzer line twice, giving a so-called secondary crossing.

This holds true für Gegenschein and for sun.

Putting together Gegenschein and sun, we have at any time a primary crossing as well as a secondary crossing. The primary crossing always moves towards west on the Grünzer line, the secondary crossing always moves opposite.

It is proposed to mark the primary crossing of the sun with a yellow stone, the secondary crossing of the sun with a blue stone, the primary crossing of the Gegenschein with a white stone and last but not least the secondary crossing of the Gegenschein with a black stone.

The black stone meets the white stone at the touching point between Grünzer Linie and touching hyperbolic at winter solstitium.

The blue stone meets the yellow stone at the same point in summer solstitium.

The blue stone meets the white stone at the crossing with the spring-autumn-line in spring.

The black stone meets the yellow stone at the same point in autumn.

Each of the four stones is active on the "Grünzer Linie" for about half a year per year.

This way we can use the Grünz Line of Date near Schmölln as an redundant self-calibrating calender, propabliy invented around 3928 B.C.

Hope, this helps watching the videos made by Boeddel - thanks to him!

The presenter,
Hans Katzgraber, Vienna

That's fine Boeddel, we have plenty of German readers/speakers.
(Rune you are excused of moderating in German!)

Indeed, looks very interesting, but will be a little while before I can get round to viewing the vids and getting a more detailed background.

Thanks.

To save time for those who haven't yet hit the online translators -

"Yesterday, hans katzgraber held a lecture in grünz and presented his "green line".
This goes directly past the grave field of schmölln.

I have filmed the lecture and maybe someone is here who is interested in it."

Cheers
