Excuse the seeming cheapness of this entry linking such a vast and serious subject with the TV show Stargate SG1. But the episode "Spirits" served as a fairly good representation of the overall attitude of a great many Native American traditional stories. I recommend viewing it.

I think we would all be doing ourselves a great disservice to ignore anything we see in SG1.
