A new exhibition, examining life in Spelthorne 4,010 years ago, will be open to the public from Monday.
SPARCS (the Spelthorne branch of the Young Archaeologists Club) has been working hard since the autumn to create a banner showing views of the local area in the Neolithic period, when the borough was covered in forest.
Spelthorne 2005 BC' will be available to view at the Community Centre, Thames Street (next to Debenham's) from Monday, February 14 on weekdays only.
The Young Archaeologists Club is a national organisation run by the Council for British Archaeology, allowing children, aged eight to 16, with an interest in archaeology to learn more about their past.
SPARCS is run with the support of Spelthorne Museum.
(posted here temporarily. Needs adding to a page for Spelthorne Museum
I'll visit this exhibition next week.)
