Anyone

I recently visited a stone circle and when I touched the stones I had an incredibly strong left sided feeling, can't really describe it and don't really know how too explain it, but I tried it a couple of times and each time I got the same left sided feeling, does anyone have any ideas what it means, I have never had it before or since.

Thanks

I have registered but not received my password yet.

Some stone circles receive or draw in earth energy in a spiralling horizontal manner across landscapes, others send out (transmit) earth energy in a standing wave, others again do nothing at all.

For simplicity I call the first group 'positive', the second group 'negative' and the third group 'neutral'.

In the northern hemisphere, the energy which spirals in to positive circles does so in a counter-clockwise direction. It may stop at the outer boundary of stones or continue to the centre of the circle. Energy which is transmitted outwards by 'negative' circles spirals in a clockwise direction. The individual stones in 'neutral' circles draw energy upwards from the earth; this energy continually spirals around and up and down each stone in a counter-clockwise direction.

In the southern hemisphere the directions are reversed.

I would say that the stone circle you visited was 'positive' and when you touched the stones you 'broke' the inwards energy circuit and grounded the energy.

Hi there.
I am also sensitive to the energies in the cirlces, the most noteworthy being The Ring of Brodgar on the Orkneys, and Stonehenge.
The Ring of Brodgar gave a warm feeling to my upper body and face. Stonehenge was distinctly a 'womb' feeling.
I can't shed any light on it I'm afraid. My husband has different reactions to me; he found more at Avebury; I didn't!!
We must just be correctly 'tuned' for the special places.
Enjoy the energy!!

What is the nearest stone circle to me in South Wales? The megalithic map has a few named but they all seem to be poor quality.

Is there one which you know of that is quite good/good?

To the OP anonymous #1, what stone circle was it?

regarding your strange feeling at the circle, the real truth is that nobody really knows! whatever anyone tells you it will still remain a mystery, just accept that some of these sites hold some kind of power try not to analize or look to hard for the answers because the real truth is lost in the past, good luck my freind!

When kneeling down to take a photo of Stonehenge, I felt a shock in my left thumb. It was very painful, and I nearly dropped my camera. The feeling lasted for about five minutes. It came back periodically after that, but seems to have faded away altogher now. Very strange

From where I'm sat, I see people almost forced to walk widdershins around Stonehenge. Mmmmm. Try walking the other way round next time you're there, you may be pleasantly surprised, especially if you are a female!

Funnily enough, I had followed the other tourists around the stones in an anti-clockwise path. I wasn't able to feel any connection to the stones, there were so many people there, all listening to their audio gadgets, totally cut off from any real experience of the stones. For me it was disappointing. I am used to being able to get up close and personal in cumbria!!
Next time I go to stone henge, I'll use the out of hours provision
It is possible to arrange for Stone Circle Access to the inner circle at Stonehenge, subject to certain conditions, from dawn until half an hour before the site opens or half an hour after the site has closed until sunset or dusk (whichever is earliest). This is only possible during the times when Stonehenge is closed to the general public:

Its not cheap though, it will cost £30 to take my family, even though we're members.

Thanks Woodcatau

I was standing inside the circle at the time. The feeling was incredibly powerful and not vague in anyway, you new it was there.

I tried it on several stones and got quite dizzy at one point. The lady I was with, is very atuned to these things but did not get the same feeling and was a little envious.

It was pleasant and peaceful, and tingleing and very relaxing but over powering and invasive all at the same time, chanelling almost.

I would like to learn more and experience this again, any ideas?
