Ian Parker Heath (archaeologist from the Arbor Low Environs Project) writes:

Arbor Low is one of many archaeological sites that have a spiritual significance for people today. Alongside the interested amateur archaeologist on a day out, curious passers-by and the occasional professional researcher, you can often see individuals or groups dowsing, divining, celebrating solstice and more. These images show just some of the activities people engage in when they visit.

We have been recording such things for many years:

Also a long reading list from some of the academic 'names' in the field, such as Robert Wallis, Jenny Blain, Cornelius Holtorf etc

Looking at the first link, Tiompan quoted on the IMHO thread "Our opinions don't matter , it's the results that count."
Obviously some people disagree!

Not sure what you are suggesting Sem . But not having the context i.e. in relation to the efficay dowsing , of the quote can be misleading . If the comment was in relation to the dowsers at Arbor Low then how do you know that they didn't get "results " , at least enough to keep them happy in their opinion of the efficacy of dowsing ?
