I'm new to the site, so if I've got the wrong forum, sorry!

This stone is local to where I live (North West Wales), as far as I gather nobody knows about it.

I was wondering if anybody could give a rough age on the art and any idea of what the shapes/ picture on the stone is? IF it is anything at all... Thanks!

Couldn't say what age the stone is, but there appear to be some faint carvings on the stone - these look like horses ? animals with human figures. Difficult to say but an interesting stone. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sunny, I did mean to say age the carvings, and said stone - oops!

A horse is what the few people I've shown the picture to also thought. Very welcome, glad you found it interesting, and thank you for sharing your thoughts =]!

Diolch!

The Welsh Rock Art Organisation is the place to post and we would be interested in looking into this. http://www.rock-art-in-wales.co.uk and then visit the Facebook page....
