Hi.
posted this on the wrong section of the forum to begin with so bare with. Thankfully it has nothing to do with 'energies' so reposting it here.
I have been browsing around Rudston in the Yorksire Wolds on google earth and noticed a feature to the southeast which i can find no information on.
Its a large circular formation directly east of Burton Agnes and directly south of Haisthorpe.
The features east boundary is defined by the field boundary and can clearly be made out as circular. The south boudary runs under a small rectangular copse of trees.
When viewed on google earth and rewind to 2005 (you need to download it for that feature) The shadow on the rest of the circle's boundary can be made out.
I don't know if it has something to do with RAF Carnaby which its where the site lies.
I can find no reference to it except a mension in prehistoric britain from the air but i dont have access to the book and don't know if it means one of the many surrounds sites.
Any help or info would be appreciated.
thanks
adam

They're definitely features of the old airfield. If you look on Old Maps and enter coordinates 512595, 463020 and then select the 1966 Post-WWII 1:2,500 map you'll see there are loads of aircraft parking bays off a circular taxi area.

Maybe the "possible prehistoric or roman enclosure and field system" mentioned on Pastscape.
