I've done this before with Mayapan:

And I see TheCaptain's just put one for La Pierre Couvretière:

So, I was wondering if it's OK to post street views of signposts when the site isn't directly visible on street view.
I can't really think of any reason why not.
Here's another one that I haven't posted yet:

Good idea, it all helps people to use the correct route and not trespass while they are looking for a site that cannot be seen seen from the roadside.

I think this is probably quite a good idea. With La Pierre Couvretière I put on the other day, it gives a very good idea of the situation the dolmen is in, in its little green oasis between industrial units, which none of the site pictures gives.
It is of course also very useful to perhaps help people find the places if its none too obvious. You can also "drive around" and look for a parkingplace before going !!!

I like the idea of showing more directions on site pages. Even though maps and GPS locations are given, a description and photo of the directions to a site can greatly assist locating it on the ground. Looking at competitor sites the strength some have is a section describing the route to monuments. Perhaps a separate section with direction text and photos might be worth adding to site pages?
