Can anyone point me in the direction of some good information on these? Not the Marvel comic please! OUr archaeology groups has been asked about one in a local church but they are pre Christian, are they Bronze or Iron Age in origin?

Hi Suerica and welcome.

Searching for a slightly different spelling, Tricephalus, turned up a couple of images which may provide a starting-point.

Is the image female? In which case I'd suggest researching goddesses with triple aspects like Hecate, The Morrigan etc.

Thanks for these. Will follow them up. Wonder if anyone knows of any in Churches in the UK? Apart from the one I have been asked about
