There is also a Corsican equivalent called torre, very similar to the nuraghe (probably there were contacts between Corsica and Sardinia both in Neolithic and Bronze Age).

I've been using the spelling "talaiot" on site pages - e.g. "Talaiot (Broch or Nuraghe) in Balearic Isles (Mallorca)".
I hope that's OK.
