So far we've managed to steer clear of a TLA (Three Letter Anacronym) for this site. 'The Megalithic Portal' is a bit of a mouthful so how do you abbreviate it either in speech or in posts/emails?

We have 10,000 members yet only a very small percentage seem to want to join in either with voting in the polls or posting in any of the fora.
What's stopping you from joining in?
English is not my first language and I don't think it's good enough for me to express an opinion.
The fora are full of knowledgeable people and I would feel stupid in comparison
I love reading the fora, I'm just shy
There aren't any topics I want to comment on
There are too many posts of drivel I don't understand
There's too much petty squabbling
I post on fora on other sites - please state which ones

Thanks, I think the first one is too anorakky (but by all means leave a comment!), second too off topic for a poll, third is good. I needed to seriously shorten the text but let's see what the feedback is.

Admittedly a bit of a mouthful, but if I can type it at 2am after watching Rob Zombie's "The Devil's Rejects" and a visit to my mate Nick, I'm sure most people could!

PS On the subject of 2t's, many thanks to the lady in the crystal shop in Cardiff. She sold me a book on fossils and the £25 I spent was well worth it for a look at her..... SORRY!
