Dear Friends,
Off the north coast of Africa, and thus on the highway which leads from Africa to Europe, lies the Italian island of Lampedusa: this tiny island is rich of megalithic remains: stone circles, circular ditches, huts and menhirs.
Approximately 100 miles SW of Malta it has not been studied yet by archaeologists, it may help to understand the migration/diffusion patterns of the megalithic culture spreading in the south Mediterranean sea.
After I have noticed that this tiny island was not listed in this portal I have added a site and I will add more, in the meantime my blog http://www.megalithic-lampedusa.com have some bigger pictures and articles that those interested in the South Mediterranean Sea may find useful. If somebody has questions I will be happy to try to help!
