Another name for this new band with Andy as front man could be 'The Standing Stones'. Who would we have on drums, guitars and keyboards, etc. Andy's gone very quiet

Don't know about me playing a musical instrument, I could sing a bit I suppose - it might be a bit out of tune !

I have just recently aquired two cassette tapes of Hawkwind (for free!). One is called 'Church of Hawkwind' and 'Stonehenge this is Hawkwind do not panic'. The other tape is 'Hawkwind - The Chronicle of the black sword' and 'Anthology Vol 2' So, now I can listen and see what its all about. Just thought i'd let you know.

Some good albums there but be warned, they are quite heavy! A band would be a good idea but we were rather beaten to it by someone more egocentric than me, and we don't like playing second fiddle to him (if you'll pardon the pun)...

Yes, I know they are on the heavy side but I'm not really into all that head banging stuff. By the way the bloke that did Solsbury Hill was Peter Gabriel. Shame about that rock band that had been suggested. The Standing Stones sounded like a good idea at the time. Perhaps it would have been more a case of 'The Stones Standing', sorry about that one but just came to mind !!

If you want a remixed version of Hawkwind in a house orientated style then have a look:

Hawkwind remix

There are a few other tunes I have done...

this one one of my side projects, Im actually an acoustic singer songwriter, but am loving this program I have been using....

*bear in mind remix is a very loose term in this case...

Any feedback would be welcomed...

Tom
