Come along and find out all about the work of the Royal Commission on Wednesday 27 July. In a day packed with guided tours, interesting talks, demonstrations and planned children’s activities, everyone will have the opportunity to chat with staff and discover the wealth of heritage material held in the National Monuments Record of Wales.
Highlights include a guided walking tour of the Old College in Aberystwyth with survey investigator and popular historian Richard Suggett and behind the scenes tours of the archives. There are talks on Aerial Archaeology, Welsh Chapels, the Collections of the National Monuments Record of Wales and World Heritage Sites. All the events are free and everyone is welcome.

Thanks for this item Andy - what a great chance to look at their material! Can't make it to the main Portal event this year, but this will be a pretty good consolation prize...
If anyone has any questions they want me to ask when I am there, please post or send a PM - eg, why does RCAHMW map on COFLEIN often show Scotland instead of Wales...
