Thank you. It would seem to be 0.11deg around the 3 days before, on and after the solstice.

Equinox.

I was lucky enough to be invited to stay with my friend near Kestor this week and, on Tuesday, we walked the easy [approx 1/2 hour] route to Scorhill circle from her house to see the sun set and the moon rise. The last rays were obscured by cloud, so we didn't see exactly where it set on the western ridge, but it was a good experience.
I hadn't bothered to check the exact day of the Equinox, but glad we did it then.

Good for you Angie. I wish I could say the same, but cloud and some fierce rain washed out any chance of rises or sets this time around.

What a shame, Cerrig. Better luck in December.

Have put up some of the Scorhill Equinox pics now. Also one, that'll make you laugh, of the human 'sacrifice' leaning back against the curving long stone, facing the sunset!
[Be funny if that's why its curved side is facing west, eh?!]
