Hello Fellow Stoners,
I am planning a trip to Cornwall sometime in 2011, but would like to begin
corresponding with residents of Cornwall and Devon now to establish some
friendships. I have been three times to the UK to visit the megalithic sites and
old villages, but this next trip I want to focus on Dartmoor and Cornwall and I
plan to stay three weeks in Mithian, near St. Agnes.
My efforts to locate sites on Dartmoor were mostly a miserable failure without a
guide. I have been more successful in Cornwall, but could use some help there as
well. But more than just needing help locating sites I want to connect with
people who feel as connected to this area and it's history as I do.
I am 60 years old, married, and live in Santa Cruz, California. My husband was
born in England, raised in the U.S. His mother was from Redruth. I love animals,
I do seed-bead weaving (jewelry). I am a graphic designer by profession. I have
a great sense of humor and, of course, a passion for all things prehistoric in
the UK.
I'd love some Cornish and Devonian pen pals!
Warm regards,
Colleen Hindson
