I'm off soon to check out some more Mexican Mayan sites, this time to the south of the Yucatan peninsular.

If you've got any tips or input, please post them in this thread.

Have a good trip David.
I was there 30yrs ago when the surf and sex was more important than the Maya and Teotihuacan.
Didn't get any sex and 25ft waves were too scary to ride.

David you're sending me on a remembrance trip here.
Yes, West Coast.
Petacalco was the big one. San Blas, supposedly the longest ride in the world, didn't work but we did get caught in a tropical storm there and had to sit on the boards to stop them flying away. Playa Azul was the another, big waves and so fast they were nearly closing out.

I was in San Blas for the ´91 total eclipse, lots of mosquitoes.
