We took a walk out to the end of Eilean na h-Eiteig which is a tidal island just off Oldshoremore Beach in Kinlochbervie, Sutherland, this morning.
Whilst out there we noticed what looks like it might be a small circle of stones but nothing is marked on the OS map and Google returns no suggestions.
What does everyone else think:

Great spot Ambriel , there was obviously some form of settlement in the area at least from 1st C. AD e.g. Droman . The stones may have been set and if so what for on a tidal island ? Rising water levels etc may mean it was not necessarilly tidal in prehistory but I can't think of any utilitarian purpose they may have served . That stretch of coast in either direction has little in megalithic remains and stone circles and standing stones are unknown for miles . They may well be another "fortuitous arrangement "

You see what I mean though?
The big rock on the left looked like it might have rolled or slipped down the slope a little.
There's quite a lot of room up there and this was the only area where there were any rocks.
I'm wondering if it was used as some kind of meeting place or something?
