"A definitive site of photographs about Oregon rock art, with a focus on Northern Great Basin sites."

The actual website wasn't given but I was able to find what I believe Anonymous meant at this site:

http://www.oregonrockart.com/index.html

The website honors the work of J. Malcolm and Louise Loring who published a two volume monograph titled nullPictographs & Petroglyphs of the Oregon Country in 1982. The sites they documented include rock art now flooded by the John Day Dam along the Columbia River in 1968.

The website was created by D. Russel Micnhimer and LeeAnn Johnston, who began visiting the Loring rock art sites (and others) in Oregon and Washington during summer vacations.

In the future the Portal may list some of these sites with locations and additional information.
