I see that Hamish has included the text "Kite Aerial Photograph" with all his kite photos, so if you go to the Photo Gallery page and enter "kite" in the search box, you'll find all the Kite Aerial Photographs that we have here.

I suggest you fill up a plastic bottle with water to a similar weight of your rig, attach the bottle to the kite line and fly it. You can then see how well the kite lifts the weight, and how the weight present on the line affects the performance and flying characteristics of the kite.
